Configure Outlook Express for your e-mail accounts.
To send mails using your e-mail account thought mail server port 587, you need to change the account configuration in your e-mail client software, taking care of the following settings:
- Outgoing Server (SMTP) require authentification.
- Outgoing Server (SMTP) uses port 587.
Here are the steps to follow in order to change this settings in Outlook Express:

1- Open the Menu, then Tools > Accounts
2- In the E-mail tab, select the account to be changed and click on "Properties".
3- In the servers tab, check the option “My SMTP servers requires authentification”
4- In the Advanced tab change the outgoing server por to 587
